For over 35 years, Judy’s Greenhouse stood as a staple of the Hayden community—a place where green thumbs and curious gardeners alike could find joy, beauty, and a sense of home among the plants. For those who’ve been with us since the beginning, the name “Judy’s” still holds deep meaning. It’s more than a title—it’s a legacy.
When Summit Sprouts took root, we didn’t see it as starting over. We saw it as continuing a story. Judy didn’t just grow plants—she cultivated relationships, nurtured knowledge, and built something special. That foundation still anchors everything we do today.
We’ve kept the same passion, the same location, and in many ways, the same heart. But we’ve also brought in new energy, expanded our offerings, and focused on growing more on-site than ever before. With nearly 100,000 plants started right here this year, including rare annuals, robust veggies, and a wider selection of perennials, we’re proud to build on the groundwork Judy laid with every season.
Customers still come in asking, “Wasn’t this Judy’s?” And we smile, because we love hearing that. Yes—it was, and in many ways, it still is. Judy’s touch is still here in the soil, the greenhouse walls, and the stories customers share when they visit.
